So after 2 years of working and working and studying and working, I decided that in between two summer internships, I will take a weekend of vacation. And so I did. Right after prom.
We packed up, and left.
We reserved at a place called "Au Diable Vert", which is a mountain hiking nature thingy.
On the road
The cabin looks like this. It has no water of electricity. No sink, no toilet. Just beds and a fireplace to heat and cook.
Oh one other thing: The cabin was 900m away from the parking place. Uphill... with a 250m hike upwards. over 900m. Which means we huffed and we puffed and we finally got uphill. We unpacked, took a nap (it WAS hard work and we were slightly hung over from prom), went back downhill to bring back the cart.
Nonetheless, the view was breathtaking, the mountain air amazing
